FICLORA

Privacy at Ficlora

This notice describes the current Ficlora website and preview workbench. Contact the project at kevin@bytenergy.cc with privacy or account questions.

Google sign-in

If you sign in, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, and email verification status. We use them to identify your account. We request only basic identity scopes, not access to Gmail, Drive, or other Google content. We do not retain Google's access or ID tokens after completing sign-in.

Sessions and storage

Account records and hashed session identifiers are stored in Cloudflare Durable Objects. An essential, secure, HTTP-only cookie keeps you signed in for up to seven days. Signing out revokes that session. A separate short-lived cookie binds a Google sign-in attempt to your browser and expires after ten minutes.

Expired session and sign-in records are periodically removed. Inactive account records are removed after 30 days without a sign-in once no active session remains, through periodic cleanup. Cloudflare's managed backups and recovery systems may retain earlier data according to its service policies.

Your story drafts

The concept workbench stores drafts in localStorage on your device. Drafts are not uploaded to Ficlora, and signing in does not synchronize them. Clearing site data or using a different browser can remove or hide the saved draft. Export a copy if you want to keep it.

Hosting and external services

Cloudflare serves this site and processes connection information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect it. Google processes the sign-in you initiate under its own privacy policy. We do not currently embed advertising trackers or a third-party marketing analytics script.

Your choices

You can read guides and use the local workbench without signing in. Sign out using the account control, clear browser site data to remove local drafts, or contact kevin@bytenergy.cc to request account information or deletion. We may verify ownership before acting on a request.
